Hi,
We’re on a mission to help current and future campervan owners save time and hopefully some money too. By using our website, you can quickly compare campervan insurance quotes and browse helpful content we regularly publish.
How it All Started
CampervanInsurance.co.uk was launched in 2014 by Julian Saunders. It began as a small side project, something I worked on in my spare time alongside my career in digital marketing. Over the years, it’s evolved into something much bigger, as you can see from the old homepage design below!
Where We Are Heading
While we’ll always offer quick and easy campervan insurance comparisons, we’re now aiming to become a much broader resource for campervan enthusiasts.
One big project currently in the works is our UK-wide campervan conversion directory. Our goal is to create the largest and most helpful directory of camper van conversion companies in the UK, all in one place, so you don’t have to spend hours searching online.
We’re also working on new ways for visitors to get involved, from sharing reviews of insurance providers to posting tips, advice, and inspiration for fellow van-lifers.
A Personal Note
Although I haven’t owned a campervan yet, I’ve rented several over the years and absolutely love the lifestyle. Renting has given me valuable insights I might not have had otherwise and it’s helped me narrow down the type of van I hope to own one day.
My family has grown since I started this website, so when the time comes, we’ll be looking for a van with plenty of sleeping space and smart storage options!
